Lisa Wenåker Appointed New Global HR Manager at Rimaster
Lisa Wenåker has been appointed as the new Global HR Manager for the Rimaster Group. The position is newly established and forms part of Rimaster’s strategic focus on talent development and leadership.
Lisa Wenåker holds a Master’s degree in Human resource management and Work Sciences from Linköping University and has worked in HR since the early 2000s, including roles at ABB/Alstom. Most recently, she served as HR Director at Tekniska Verken, which is Linköping’s municipal energy company.
“For me, the strategic link between HR work and a company’s overall strategy and business plan is key to ensuring a sustainable and successful operation. That’s one of the things that attracted me to Rimaster,” says Lisa Wenåker.
“There is a clear commitment to issues around talent development and leadership, and it’s evident that employees are viewed as a vital asset and part of the business. My impression is that Rimaster has done a great job regarding HR at board and management level, and I look forward to building on that.”
Lisa also sees challenges as well as great potential ahead:
“Rimaster operates in many different countries and cultures, which naturally brings certain cultural challenges – but that’s also what makes it exciting. I find that Rimaster has a strong shared culture, combined with a genuine respect for diversity. That’s a real strength.”
Lisa Wenåker will assume her role on 2 June and will be part of Rimaster’s global management team.
“I’m really looking forward to joining the Rimaster leadership team and to contributing to the strong collaboration with the board. It will also be incredibly exciting to familiarise myself with a new industry.”
